We are a business with headquarters in Novato and we were looking for someone to paint a mural and give us a color consultation for our conference room. Ran into Andrea Oreck’s booth at the Home Show at the Santa Rosa Fairgrounds and grabbed a brochure. We had been looking at what other artists have to offer in the bay area, and while we saw some beautiful art, nothing compared to Andrea’s for the look we wanted to achieve. Andrea is a consummate professional. She started by talking about some ideas of the design we wanted and she picked the carpet for us around that. It was something we may not have considered ourselves but is a perfect choice now. She brought in help and had the room painted, even the baseboards, adding a nice faux finish. We supplied pictures of what we were looking for and she asked a lot of questions, coming up with several choices for us to pick from. She committed to times around our room’s schedule and created a truly amazing piece of art. It was coming along so nicely, we asked her to design the wall across from it. We are posting pictures of the beautiful Ka’anapali Maui wall and the second, which is the road to Hana. This room now has the power to relax people in a meeting, but also keeps them alert feeling like you are actually at the beach. If you need any color consulting or murals painted, no need to look around. You can’t get better than this.

Andrea Oreck created a mural in our kitchen dining area in 2016 and we couldn’t have been happier with the result! Before we settled on the design, Andrea interviewed us to discover the art elements we most wanted to include (he wanted a hummingbird and quail and I wanted the little bridge and distant mountains). Then Andrea created a mock up with several choices and price ranges. During the creation process, both my husband and I were so excited to see the mural come to life. Every time Andrea left after her painting session, we were invited to give our input which helped us feel part of the process. It’s been several years now, and the room has become a gathering place for company because of our beautiful mural. We feel it has increased the value of our home!

Not only is Andrea Oreck a fine artist of exceptional talent, she is extremely adept at working with the vision, expectations and needs of clients to creatively enhance their living or working spaces. The result of this client-artist collaboration is so much more than a decorative addition, it is something one will grow to embrace as and integral part of their aesthetic environment. With out realizing it, a new client discovers that Andrea has a unique ability to sense and assess their tastes, vision and style of living and that she will suggest a variety of alternatives to accomplish a beautiful work of art that the client will enjoy living with for years to come. Our experience with Andrea not only provided a stunning forest scene viewed through a faux Gothic window and a pair of beautifully marbleized columns, which we enjoy every day, but a new friend who has enriched our lives in many ways.
